Winter 2009

In a year of well-publicised economic doom and gloom, Fairey Industrial Ceramics Limited (FICL) has turned in a strong performance in 2009. To be able to finish such a year with growth is testament to a lot of hard work both inside our company and from the people around the world who promote our brands and sell the products we manufacture. Thank you.

Our commitment to improving our product range, strengthening our brands, and better marketing our drinking water filter products remains strong. There will be a lot happening in 2010 including new product launches, exhibitions and various new marketing initiatives. Details to follow in due course. 

We look forward to working with all of you in 2010 to build on our joint achievements from 2009.

FICL will start a busy programme of exhibitions in 2010 with the first ever Aquatech India in New Delhi.

The exhibition is being held at The Pragati Maidan Exhibition Center, New Delhi, India between 3rd and 5th of February.

In March, we will be heading to Orlando, Florida for the WQA Aquatech exhibition.

The exhibition is being held at the Orange County Convention Center (South Building, Hall B)
Orlando, Florida USA March 10th -12th, 2010.

Then FICL will be exhibiting at Aquatech China tradeshow in Shanghai. This will take place at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre from June 2nd – 4th.

As in previous years, rather than sending paper greeting cards, we have decided to send our best wishes to you for the festive season via this newsletter and the money that would have been spent on cards and postage will be donated to a worthwhile charity.

Our charity choice for 2009 is UN Habitat, which provides shelter and other basics like clean water and sanitation to the most needy.

Everyone at FICL would like to take this opportunity to wish all our customers, distributors, agents & friends around the world a happy and prosperous New Year.

The factory will close on December 23rd and reopen again on January 4th. We look forward to speaking to you soon.
